This project was an investigation on how to adapt my illustration style into book covers, in a way that remains expressive and authentic.

I focused on experimenting mostly with lettering, trying to emulate the spirit of the story through it.

Since I’m interested in dark subjects, I chose books that had horror elements in it, maybe psychological (such as The Bell Jar), classic horror (Frankenstein) and contemporary (The Shining).
